A lot going on....but love it

So yeh I don't think I have ever been this busy planning things. But I love to be on my toes. So here is what I have going on...no joke!
April 3rd Easter Celebration
April 18th Bike event-not planning but participating
April 24th Wedding (2nd shooter) From salon in the am to when the bride and groom leaves! :o)
May 29 Wedding reception planner/organizer
June 5 First Tri is Savannah-not planning but participating
June 12 Birthday Bash-event planner

So yeh. I think I need to set up a side business for Events planner! What do you think???

I hope so of these things opens doors to others!!!

Plus I have a lot of training to do for the Tri and bike event...keeping me in shape :o)

Not complaining just sharing what I have going on...I love my life and wouldn't change it for the world.

Not sure

Well this week has been a crazy one for me at work and personally. Thank you Lord for the much needed day off tomorrow(or should i say today)! I need to train more for the duathlon this sat and the rain is just a coming down...ehhhh....I guess I will be training in the rain. I'm doing this race with my sweet friend Renee and I am so glad she talked me into doing this with her. Even though I don't fell 100% prepared. It has gotten me more active! Which is much needed. Hopefully this will be a new beginning to what is to come. I hope I get addicted to racing!

On another sad note. My Lil bro and his girlfriend went today to find out the sex of their twins and she has lost one of them :/ The other is a boy and seems to be fine. Just keep them in your prayers! And that nothing ill happen to this baby boy!

Malachi Khadafy Hobbs

Malachi (which means my messenger) came into this world on 3-1-2010 weighing 6lbs and 11oz and he is the precious littlest thing I've ever seen! During the week of his birth I was able to take a few days off work and help my sister with her other 3 kids and I really enjoyed the time with my niece and nephews! I can't believe how time has just gone by...where has it gone??? My oldest nephew Jordan is 12 will be 13 in Oct....I remember when we found out she was prego with him and the first time I felt him move! Its crazy...But Malachi was very unexpected since De'Jaun is 7 and will be 8 in Dec. But Malachi is and has been such a blessing to us all. Babies!!!

So yesterday Tera and I gave our sister a baby shower. Hollie is schedule for a c-section on March 1st but she is already contracting. This makes Hollie's 4th child and she had absolutely nothing. But thanks to many great friends and family yesterday she has gotten a lot of things. Hollie also announced that she is naming the baby Malachi. Not even knowing that Malachi is even in the Bible.....So it was pretty cool one to be able to tell others what she was naming this precious baby boy but to be able to pray over her and Malachi at the shower just put a new connection between Hollie and myself. I have never prayed over any of my nieces and nephews with my sisters or brothers before. Also, I got to share what Malachi means and prayer over his life that he will live out his name and any generational curses be broken. Malachi is the last book in the old testament and means "my messenger." Which I thought was awesome..So God is good and it amazes me how God still lets you know He is at work in things that I have no control over but are so dear to my heart. I love my family even if we don't get a long all the time and some of us are so very different. They are still my family and I love them and thank God for them. I love being an Aunt and our family is continuing to grow as we speak...My younger brother Taylor is expecting this August as well....So more babies to come!

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was awesome..We had about 30 people at my moms and everyone brought food and it was just a good time to be around family and friends. We definitely missed Jamie but so thankful that I got to spend 20 great years with him. We all miss him like crazy but I will never forget the things he taught me...include riding a bike. But I am thankful for having a big family and even though there are different beliefs we are still a tight nit family and I love it. Very thankful for them and the promise I will continue to stand on for them. Me and my house will serve the Lord!!!!

It was also my 1st day back at Huddle House. I am picking up some extra shifts to get some extra money for the holidays! So the first night was a little slow but still made some good tips.

Fun Weekend

So this weekend Kristen and I ran off to Dawsonville to the outlet malls. We had a great time...We got there around 11 and didnt leave until 840ish....Needless to say we were very tired and our feet hurt...but we got some great deals and some gifts for babyshowers and Christmas!
Speaking of which....we might be getting a REAL Christmas tree!!!! I haven't had a real tree in forever!!!! So I am definitely excited...Hopefully we can find one for a good deal!

And today we had our pastor appreciation sunday....and it was a surprise! We didn't tell them we were doing it and people got up and shared words for them and it was just amazing! We have an awesome Pastor and his wife is just as amazing...I love them both very much!!!!

Also I went to a babyshower for Deborah Anne and it was so much fun! SS is getting bigger by the min and I can't wait to meet Hampton Cole in Dec!

I am definitely blessed to have sooo many great friends and family!!!


On another note....For some reason I have been lonely to be in a relationship and so ready to settle down and I was thinking how much I want to love someone and to be loved and spend time with that person and the Lord sooo flipped it on me...He told me Jessica now you know how I feel....I long so badly to be loved and to love on my children...Only if they let me. I want to have a relationship with you and them and I want you and them to spend time with me too....And my heart just dropped. How often do I set and dream about spending time with the person I will love when God (Abba Father) wants to spend time with me. The other day at church we talked about God being Daddy God and I have always known that God is our Father....But it clicked to me...I haven't REALLY had that kind of relationship with God as my Daddy....He wants to know how I feel...He wants me to talk to him as my Daddy....So I have a whole new outlook and relationship with God and I have to work on it but its amazing!!!!
